Manila, Philippines (+632) 247-8666
Calling all dimsum lovers! This is a must try! Spoil yourselves with a Dimsum All You Can treat from Hyatt’s Li Li restaurant. At only Php 888.00 you can have as many different dumplings as you want. You can also avail a FREE Guava Iced tea which costs around Php 300.00 each when you learned of this promo from this blog and other participating blogs. Promo runs until June 30 2013 only. It’s insanely good you must reserve now.
Intimate. That’s the feeling you’ll get upon entering the restaurant. Inspired from the life and home of an affluent Chinese woman named Li Li. She was born and raised in Hong Kong before she left for Paris where she studied and met her husband, a French UN ambassador and started a family of their own. The concept of the restaurant started as Li Li felt home sick living in Europe and what fueled to pursue her interest was the urge to introduce her Chinese culture and tradition with her Western friends.
Each part of the restaurant represents a real portion of Li Li’s home. Calm and class. Each portion serves different purposes and feel. They also have private rooms named after her two daughters for different occasions.
Chateau 1711
April 25, 2013 - Greenbelt 5, Makati City
Aside from the very luxurious look of this flagship restaurant, it is the most excellent choice if you want to experience a mix of Italian, French and Swiss delicacies. Some meals have a touch of Asian influences where everyone will surely desire. Chateau 1771 is celebrating its 25th year on business and they are giving back the love to people who loves food and they’re doing a good job on it.
They served us a Special Degustation meal which consists French Onion Soup, Caesar Salad, Pasta Chorizo, Lemon Chicken, Potence and Coffee Pie as desert, served in their bite size appearance but still filled our tummies with overflowing goodness at only for Php 500.00. It admittedly pampered our taste buds that we want to get another order but their menu is somewhat expensive but all the cash you’ll burn will be worth it. Try it yourselves! Visit them or make your reservations now.

WB stands for WineBar. It is a perfect place to hangout for young and working professionals. It might look somewhat expensive but it’s not and it’s surprisingly affordable! We were invited for the wine tasting and we were taught about the origin of the wines, its raw ingredients, the right way to handle a wine glass and why wine lovers love to sniff it. There’s a technique to enjoy your wine and one approach is to share it with friends. We tried different wines progressively, from the lowest concentration of alcohol and it gets higher as we go on.
The place feels very high-end since a lot of foreigners and corporate people are in the place but not to worry… It’s also a good place to consider even if you’re on tight budget but you want to impress someone. The food that was served to us tastes ridiculously good like it’s was showered with love potion. Another great thing about this place is that they have this specialized wine distiller that keeps the wine absolutely fresh while you can instantly pour some more in your wine glass.
This wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for another invite from Ms. Vannah Santiago who never failed to amuse us and we are indeed planning to set another event for foodies here on Tumblr! Interested? Kindly like this post and send me a message. We’ll be having it after the Holy week.

The BURGER PROJECT
February 06, 2013
Grand Towers, Taft Ave. Manila
CREATE YOUR OWN BURGER!
So when my former college professor asked me where I want to pig-out as his treat to me for passing the Nursing Licensure Examination, I told him that the BRGR PRJCTis the place to be. Heard about the place from Andrea but I didn’t know its whereabouts so I have to Google it. The feedback were good so I decided to give it a try. We went to the branch located at Taft… at the ground floor of Grand Towers, where a lot of *memories* were built in a short span of time. Sighs. Oh well scratch that. I’m happy with my life now.
Received complimentary drinks from the manager because I told them that I’m a blogger. Named my burger Chili Taberu degozaru~. Trying hard to be Japanese. Another branch is located at Maginhawa Ave. Q.C.
Sharpening the Ends.

Final preparation for tomorrow’s board exam. I’m quite anxious with a mixed feeling of excitement for what we nursing graduates call the Judgement Day. This will be my first attempt and I hope it’d be the last. Pray with me guys. Thank you! :)

From reading its name and if you were taught Philippine History you will distinguish that they cater Filipino cuisine. Well they do and with much respect they actually do it tremendously well.

Banana split.

The restaurant’s theme is all Filipino! Nipa huts, rattan furniture, Katipunero costume as crew uniforms and not to mention they only play Original Pinoy Music.

I’ve always been curious about this place. Whenever I walk across this restaurant I tell myself that one day I’ll be able and willing to burn some money for it… and I finally did. To be honest, I fancy Thailand. Everything about it. Muay Thai, their culture, their beaches, EVERYTHING. Well let’s say except for the fact that there are many people there who have undergone sex change.
Burning up some cash was never better! Plus, I enjoyed taking photos with my new ultra wide angle lens, a Tokina 12-24mm f/4. :)

Then after munching down the enemy, we went straight to the cinema to do our primary goal… watch The Bourne Legacy! It was great! I don’t want to spoil you but I give it 4.7/5. After the movie we went thrift shopping where I got to buy a coat and a plaid long sleeve. :D
